Paul Hardacre graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1985 and has been practicing veterinary medicine since with a special interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. He established Loyalist Veterinary Hospital in 1990 which he managed for about 30 years and in 2019 he sold the practice to his associates. He is now operating Loyalist Veterinary Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Services and working exclusively on orthopaedic procedures. Aside from work, Paul enjoys travelling, spending time with his family and walking his dog, Ava.

Andrea graduated from Queen’s University in 2008 where she received degrees in Life Sciences and Physical and Health Education. She then attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, ON. Once graduating from chiropractic school, she completed her Medical Acupuncture Certificate at McMaster University in 2013. Always having a love and passion for animals, Andrea decided to continue her schooling and complete her studies in Veterinary Chiropractic care at the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre in Brantford, ON. She is a board certified Animal Chiropractor and recognized by the College of Animal Chiropractors (COAC) and the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). |

Leigh graduated from University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus in 2000 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has been working alongside Dr. Hardacre since 2001 and has proven to be an asset to the nursing care of our patients. Leigh completed her Rehabilitation training with the Canine Rehab Institute in 2012. She has a keen interest in the rehabilitation of pets and is always eager to find ways to improve the happiness and quality of life of your pet. She continues to further her education by continually taking courses in all areas of the veterinary field. Most recently, she has completed courses in anesthesia, trigger point dry needling, and pain management. Outside of work Leigh spends her time with her husband, 3 children and 5 pets.

Cariann is a veterinary assistant who has been working along side Dr. Hardacre since 2011. Cariann loves helping and caring for animals and has a lot of passion towards her job. In the past year or two, Cariann has realized she has a keen interest in orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation of pets. Everyday she shows up with a smile and ready to help an animal in need. During her spare time she enjoys being with family and her two beagles, Copper and Domi.

Emily began her work in the veterinary field as a student in 2015. She has worked alongside Dr. Hardacre since aiding in animal care, surgery, pack preparation and diagnostic imaging. Emily graduated from the University of Guelph where she received her Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Animal Biology in 2022. Now, she is currently a student veterinarian at the Ontario Veterinary College class of 2028! Emily is hoping to become a small animal veterinarian and has an interest in specializing in surgery. Outside of school, Emily shares her home with her ragdoll named Bagels and an Australian shepherd mix named Riley. Emily enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and camping with her dog, travelling, and photography.

Olivia has worked in the veterinary field for 6 years, gaining experience in many aspects of a busy veterinary hospital. She graduated from the Veterinary Technology Program at St Lawrence College in 2024. She completed an externship placement at LVOARS as part of her education then joined our team upon graduation. When Olivia isn't spending her time helping animals, she can be found snuggling with her cat, Archie, or enjoying the nice weather camping.

Beginning at the age of 14, Morgan immersed herself in the world of veterinary care. With 8 years of hands-on experience in veterinary medicine, Morgan is a dedicated veterinary technician student at Penn Foster College, set to graduate soon. She is Fear Free certified, which she obtained through St. Lawrence College and in addition to her vet tech skills, she is a certified phlebotomist through Futures Canadian College in Toronto. She has a deep love for animals, from her quarter horse, Rain, with whom she barrel races, to her playful golden retriever puppy, Pluto. When not working with animals or in school, Morgan enjoys horseback riding, spending time outdoors, and continuing her education to better serve animals and their owners.
